The grant would be used to provide woodland activity forest school for disengaged young people in Bootle and South Sefton in Merseyside, leading to a qualification and improved skills through this hands-on and activity-based approach to learning.
Sefton Play Council are a charity based in Bootle who have been providing play-based activity and forest school for children and young people, and training opportunities, for over 20 years. At First Steps, we’ve been working with Sefton Play Council over the past few months.
