Family Link Worker – £19,819 per annum pro-rata/21 hours per week over 3 days/fixed term to 31st March 2019, based in Fazakerley Children’s Centre in Liverpool
We are looking for an experienced, committed, pro-active Family Link Worker to support the Children Centre Service Co-ordinator/Manager and Children Centre Team in delivering high quality Universal Early Learning Services to support children and their families and to Champion the School Readiness Agenda.
The successful applicant will provide direct support to children and their families facing a range of difficulties. This role will provide additional support at an early stage to help divert families from requiring higher threshold services.
The high quality services delivered to support children and their families will include developing and facilitating parental involvement, providing support to children under 5 and their families, and delivering activity sessions.
The successful applicant will have a level 3 a early years/childcare-related qualification or equivalent, and meet the person specification. Being able to drive and having access to a car is vital.
You will understand child development from 0 to 5, and understand the ethos and services of children’s centres. An enhanced DBS will be undertaken. The post is based in Fazakerley Children’s Centre, Liverpool, and cross the communities of Fazakerley and Croxteth.
