Positions from 30 to 40 hours per week, both all year and term-time positions available

First Steps have a number of opportunities, both within its own nurseries and in school nurseries for dedicated Level 3 practitioners who can rise to the challenge of providing excellent learning and development to children in the early years. We have a number of placements in Sefton and Liverpool, both all year round and term-time in both schools and our own footprints@ nurseries, which Ofsted described in 2022 as ‘children benefit from a highly successful transition programme when they join this nursery… children are confident and self-assured’.
If your passion is to see children thrive and develop in the early years we want to hear from you!
But don’t take it from us! Our children have some vital messages for all level 3 Early Years Workers!
You will provide the highest level of care and education for children attending the nursery. You will ideally hold a level 3 qualification in Childcare, Education and Learning. However, we will also consider candidates who hold their level 2 qualification and have very good experience working in a busy nursery. Placements are in nursery classrooms in schools across Merseyside and also our own footprints@ nurseries in both Hatton Hill and Netherton.
You will help with ensuring the requirements of Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage are met and have experience working in a busy early years childcare setting.
The successful applicants will meet the person specification. An enhanced DBS will be undertaken.
