Teaching Assistant Early Years L3 £20,440 (pro-rata); 31.25 hours per week; term-time only
Based in Lydiate Primary School, Fixed term initially from 4th January 2023 to 31st December 2023
An excellent opportunity has arisen in Lydiate Primary School for a committed quality Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Early Years Focus). Based in the nursery class the school, the TA3 will work with and supervise individuals and groups of children as directed by the class teacher or senior school management.

Teaching Assistant (Early Years) TA3
The aim of this role is
- To work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff in the school nursery class, inclusive of specific individual learning needs,
- To enable access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in nursery classroom management and behaviour techniques and providing specialist support in a specific curricula/resource area.

General
Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), plus two references, and right to work in the United Kingdom.
