First Steps Enterprise Limited is looking for a committed quality Teaching Assistant to join its team of workers working in schools across Sefton and Liverpool, based in the nursery class in Lydiate Primary School. This is a great opportunity and may well lead to further contracted work.

Teaching Assistant (Early Years) TA3
The aim of this role is
- To work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff in the school nursery class, inclusive of specific individual learning needs,
- To enable access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in nursery classroom management and behaviour techniques and providing specialist support in a specific curricula/resource area.

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), plus two references, and right to work in the United Kingdom.
