We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed Nursery Manager! Our community-based nursery, located in the heart of the vibrant L7 area of Liverpool, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team. We provide care and early years education for children from birth to age 5, 51 weeks of the year, between 8 am and 6 pm. Our 78-place nursery recently received a GOOD rating in all areas from Ofsted in February 2023, with inspectors noting: “Children arrive excited and eager to see their friends…All children make good progress and are developing their skills for future learning.”

About the Role:

The successful candidate will ensure the provision of high-quality, affordable day care to children and families through effective management of staff, budget, and resources. You will also develop and implement Early Years curriculum plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage nursery staff and children
  • Report to the Chief Executive
  • Maintain and develop the nursery’s high standards
  • Implement and oversee the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent qualification
  • Experience: At least 2 years in a nursery or early years setting
  • Skills: Significant experience with EYFS curriculum planning and implementation, good ICT and report-writing skills
  • Leadership: Previous supervision or management experience
