We are excited to announce a new nursery, footprints@kingsmeadow, is opening in Ainsdale operated by First Steps Enterprise!
Footprints@kingsmeadow nursery, scheduled to open in September 2024 and awaiting registration with Ofsted, will be open to 2-year-olds and will be based in Kings Meadow Primary School in Ainsdale. Company Deputy Manager Sarah Mercer, who overseas our footprints@ childcare settings, is looking forward to it: ‘We are very excited by this new venture. The nursery will operate in core hours in term-time, and we are fully ready to take funded two-year places in line with the roll out of funded childcare.’
However, we will also operate wrap around care as well. ‘Parents will be able to additionally choose breakfast cover in the room’, Sarah explains. ‘In addition, after school, we will be making room in our footprints@kingskids (Kings Kids) after school club for those parents who wish to choose that as well.’
The two-year nursery, located in Kings Meadow Primary School in Ainsdale, will work in partnership with the school nursery for those aged 3 and above. Headteacher Sandie Lineton says ‘In Kings Meadow Primary School, we see the two-year room as a vital part of our nursery and school provision. The two-year room will act as an important exciting educational gateway for children and families. We are very much looking forward to the nursery room commencing.’
