Early Years Practitioners Level 3.  2 positions – £9.55 per hour
Position 1 – 30 hours, Position 2 – 16 hours; both term-time only

One of First Steps nurseries, footprints@hattonhill, located in Hatton Hill School in Litherland, Merseyside, is looking for two enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking Level 3 Early Years Practitioners, with strong Early Years Foundation stage experience. The posts are to start as soon as possible

The purpose of the posts is to work in the nursery setting, delivering high quality early years care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting parent & child interaction and the development of the child.

It is essential that the candidates are able to work with colleagues too deliver high quality provision, and have strong experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.  A Level 3 in an Early Years qualification is essential.

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), plus two references, and right to work in the United Kingdom.

The position is term-time over 38 weeks.

Hours.  The two positions we are looking for are as follows:

  • Position 1 – 30 hours per week 12 noon to 6pm;
  • Position 2 – 16 hours per week 12.15pm to 3.15pm; plus 1 hour file time

Some flexibility with hours may be required on occasion and we request staff be available for different/additional hours as required by the service.
