Permanent Position 19 hours per week, Sefton term time. (An annual leave allowance is added onto hourly rate)

footprints@netherton is a vibrant and busy community-based nursery set in the heart of Netherton. We have a shining reputation for providing inclusive care and quality early years education for all children aged from 2 to 4 years old during term-time.
We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join our Netherton Nursery family. We are looking for a level 2 or 3 early years practitioner to support our youngest children in our Rainforest Toddler Room. You will hold a full and relevant early years level 2 or 3 childcare qualification as specified by the DFE list of acceptable early years qualifications and be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check or be on the update service. All offers of employment are subject to DBS and suitable references.
The purpose of the role is to:
- Protect and promote the health and well-being of children.
- Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed.
- Promote positive relationships in the early years setting.
- Support children’s learning and development through play.
- Be a ‘key person’ to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families.
The successful applicants will meet the person specification. An enhanced DBS and other checks will be undertaken.
