1:1 SEND Support Practitioner Required in Footprint Netherton Nursery!
Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm
Pay: From £12.21 per hour, dependent on qualification and experience, plus 12.07% leave allowance
Venue: footprints@netherton nursery, Netherton, Bootle, L30 5QH
We have a wonderful opportunity at our Netherton nursery for a compassionate, patient, and experienced individual to make a real difference in the life of a child with additional needs. This role involves supporting the child’s development and outcomes within our nurturing nursery environment. The position is fixed-term due to the nature of the funding; however, there is a strong possibility of continuation to support other children in the future.

The purpose of the role is to:
- Demonstrate patience and empathy
- Good understanding of child development and SEN
- Ability to follow routines
- Flexibly and possess strong communication and record keeping skills
- Promote positive relationships in the early years setting.
The successful applicants will meet the person specification. An enhanced DBS and other checks will be undertaken. No formal qualifications are needed but a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification is a bonus.
